The Naked Heat palette is everywhere right now and for all of the right reasons. It really is a beautiful palette and of course, because it’s from Urban Decay the shadows are beyond dreamy both to look at and to work with. That’s why even though I only posted my initial thoughts last week (here) I wanted to dedicate a series of posts to it over the next week that will allow me to use every shade to create various looks.
So today I was planning on going for a very natural look. Does anyone else find that when they tell themselves ‘go natural’ the total opposite always happens?? See the thickness of that winged liner? That was not supposed to be there. I do quite like how this turned out regardless of my rebellion.
Unlike my last Naked Heat post where I was a right giddy kipper and used 7 shades to create a look. I was much more reserved this time and just used three.
‘Low Blow’-crease
‘Cayenne’-Crease and outer V
‘Ounce’- Inner corner highlight
I also ran ‘Low Blow’ and ‘Cayenne’ under the lower lashes
Other products used
Primer-MAC Soft Ochre paint pot
Illamasqua loose powder to set
Technic Skinny liquid liner (Review on that here)
Makeup Forever Smokey lash mascara
Avon Supershock gel liner
Hopefully, these posts will give you ideas for looks that you can do with this palette or any similar eyeshadows you have. As well as giving me an excuse to play with the palette some more and put out some relaxed non-review type content. In case you are fed up of hearing about this palette already. I’ll be posting as usual in between doing these looks so please do stick around.
