When it comes to my makeup artist kit I’ve started to notice that no matter what the job or who the client is, these Five products almost always gets an airing. I thought I’d share what makes each of them my current go to’s.
Makeup artist kit favourites
DUO Eyelash Adhesive
I don’t know whether anything better has been released and I don’t think I’d be too interested if it had. Duo has been my favourite lash glue for years and years. The latex based formula keeps strip lashes in place all day. It just works.
MAC PRO Longwear Paintpot ‘Soft Ochre’
This is actually pretty new to me. I have always been a fan of ‘Painterly’ as a base for eye makeup. This yellow-toned version is much more universal though.I have used it as a base for nearly all of the eye makeup looks that I have done since I purchased it a couple of months ago.
Zoeva Nude Spectrum Palette
I have a lot of eyeshadow palettes. Nude eyeshadow palettes, in particular, are ones my kit isn’t lacking. However, I always gravitate towards this one! Look at it! It’s just so pretty, it’s also really versatile. As well as that, the pigmentation and blend ability are divine, especially considering that it is a total bargain at £28.50
Bobbi Brown BBU Palette
I have an insane fear of losing this palette. If you have never seen one up close, it’s actually small enough to lose. The BBU contains all 13 correctors, 14 creamy concealers and 20 shades of Bobbi Brown stick foundation. It is just so handy to have in my makeup artist kit as I know I will never be stuck for a client’s shade. Initially, I didn’t love it, as I’ve always been a liquid foundation girl. Now I’ve worked out that it works best when applied with fingers I’m in love!
Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre.
This moisturiser/primer hybrid has been my go-to base for makeup for years now. I would never be without Embryollise for clients. Especially Bridal parties. Embryolisse is a triple threat! Moisturiser, primer and makeup remover in one. Foundation applies and sets flawlessly over it and sets in place beautifully. A little goes a long way too so it lasts forever!

Lovely post! The Zoeava palette is so pretty and is full of shades I would wear and I love using Embroyllise, I don’t do my makeup without it!

Aah thank you! Embryollise is amazing I do 99% of my clients’ makeup with it. I do need to check out more of the range! Ooh yes the Zoeva palette is just beautiful, definitely worth picking up as it is so versatile! Thanks for your comment! ☺️ xxx
