TOP- AMAZON- BEAUTY- BARGAINS-MAKEUP-PRODUCTS-CHEAP-TARTE-MAKEUP-BRUSHES-EYESHADOW-PALETTE.

Top Amazon Beauty Bargains.

I always buy my eyelashes in bulk from Amazon for my makeup kit because the prices are so good! Recently Bob got Amazon Prime membership so I’m a lot more interested in purchasing through the site than ever. Last week while stocking up on lashes, glue and lash applicators, I decided to have a browse around the beauty section and was surprised to find that Amazon stock Tarte cosmetics. I’m unsure if everybody already knows that there are higher end brand cosmetics to be had on Amazon. But for the sake of this post, I’m assuming that you are as behind the door as I was about it.

Certain products like Kat Von D and Too faced are actually way more expensive to purchase through Amazon and you might as well just order from another online store. However, I had a dig around and compared prices to find a few beauty bargains to share with you.

Real Techniques-Eyes-Starter Set £11.00

I love Real Techniques brushes. The sets are always such good value for money at full price. They are so well made, they work really well and they last a decent amount of time. At £11.00 and eligible for Prime delivery this eye starter set which contains 5 full sized eye brushes and a carry case which folds into a brush stand is amazing value for money. Perfect for anybody that want’s to build up a brush collection without spending a fortune.

theBalm- Mary-Lou Manizer £15.00

I was so excited when I found this! The cult highlighter from theBalm ‘Mary-Lou Manizer’ is one that I have always meant to buy but never gotten around to actually getting! At £15 for a full sized product, this is definitely back on my radar! And in my basket, as we speak! Yes!!

theBalm  Pickup Liner- ‘Chemistry’ £4.74

Another theBalm bargain to be had! At £4.74 and eligible for Prime delivery I had to add this lip liner into the mix! There are 8 shades in the ‘Pickup’ liner range and I can find 7 on Amazon. The other shades do vary in price and none are as bargainous as this particular one. But they are still cheaper to purchase through Amazon overall. There are actually tonnes of theBalm bargains to be had if you scout around the site. So much so that I think I could have made this whole post on the brand alone!

Tarte Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette £44.99

Tarte-cosmetics-Amazonian-clay-matte-eyeshadow-palette
OK so now this is turning into more of a personal wish list kind of post!! Beauty blogging is dangerous!! As I mentioned I had noticed that Tarte cosmetics are available on Amazon. As the brand isn’t readily available in the UK this is very exciting! Of course, we have to pay a little extra for the privilege. But it seems that over here Amazon is a good place to go for this brand right now. Although the saving is only a few pounds vs buying directly from Tarte US. Not eligible for Prime delivery the cheapest delivery option for this palette is £5 so in total it’ll cost you £50. I want it!

Ardell Demi Wispies Natural multipack x4 pairs lashes £8.76

I thought I’d end this post (for the sake of my own bank balance) with the lashes that I always order from Amazon. I am never without the Ardell demi wispies in my professional kit as they are such a universally flattering eyelash! My brides love them. And they are my personal favourites to wear on a night out. I haven’t found a better price for these lashes. And they are eligible for Prime delivery so I had to add them in!

Hopefully, this post was helpful. I can’t believe the amount of beauty brands that are actually on offer on Amazon! So this has been an interesting post for me to put together. The links used are affiliate links which means I would receive a small percentage of any sales made through them at no extra cost to you. By all means feel free just to search the products if you prefer to.

Do let me know if you like this type of post. There are so many products available that I think I could do several!!

Urban Decay Naked Heat Makeup Looks #2 Scorched!

Urban Decay Naked Heat Eye Makeup Look 5

Urban Decay Naked Heat

So if you can detect a little sadness in my eyes (or eye in this case) it’s because today’s look didn’t go quite to plan! Finn decided to cut his nap short by about an hour and he desperately wanted in on the action! I gave him an old eyeshadow palette and a (Lancome!)brush to occupy him but he was all about the Heat palette so I struggled big time! That plus the miserable weather in the UK today making for bad lighting the whole thing was pretty much doomed to fail from the get go! However, I’m not here to put a downer on your day and moaning isn’t really my thing! After some freaking out on my part the photos didn’t actually turn out half bad. Phew!

Urban Decay Naked Heat- 7 Looks in 7 days -Day 2 Simple smoke

Products used

To prime the lid- MAC Soft Ochre

Illamasqua loose powder

NAKED Heat shades used

‘Scorched’ (all over lid)

‘Ashes’ (through the crease and outer ‘V’ also smudged under lower lashes)

‘En Fuego’ (through the crease)

‘Lumbre’ (over inner 1/3 of the lid)

As I didn’t want to use a liquid or gel liner for this look I used a black eyeshadow from the Zoeva Nude spectrum palette on a push liner brush just along the top lashline. I also used my new favourite mascara, Makeup forever smokey lash. And a little bit of Bobbi Brown creamy concealer (porcelain peach) through the brow bone. All in all, it turned into quite a simple smokey eye. It’s definitely one that you could get away with wearing in the daytime. I’m expecting an eyelash delivery from Amazon tomorrow so the rest of the week’s looks should be a bit more exciting!

I hope you are enjoying this series so far! See Day 1 here.Let me know if you have this palette and what your favourite shades and looks to do with it are!

Urban Decay Naked Heat Makeup Looks- #1 Low Blow

Urban Decay Naked Heat Eye Makeup Look 5

The Naked Heat palette is everywhere right now and for all of the right reasons. It really is a beautiful palette and of course, because it’s from Urban Decay the shadows are beyond dreamy both to look at and to work with. That’s why even though I only posted my initial thoughts last week (here) I wanted to dedicate a series of posts to it over the next week that will allow me to use every shade to create various looks.

Urban Decay Naked Heat- 7 Looks in 7 days 1

So today I was planning on going for a very natural look.  Does anyone else find that when they tell themselves ‘go natural’ the total opposite always happens?? See the thickness of that winged liner? That was not supposed to be there. I do quite like how this turned out regardless of my rebellion.

Urban Decay Naked Heat- 7 Looks in 7 days 3

Unlike my last Naked Heat post where I was a right giddy kipper and used 7 shades to create a look. I was much more reserved this time and just used three.

‘Low Blow’-crease

‘Cayenne’-Crease and outer V

‘Ounce’- Inner corner highlight

I also ran ‘Low Blow’ and ‘Cayenne’ under the lower lashes

Hopefully, these posts will give you ideas for looks that you can do with this palette or any similar eyeshadows you have. As well as giving me an excuse to play with the palette some more and put out some relaxed non-review type content. In case you are fed up of hearing about this palette already. I’ll be posting as usual in between doing these looks so please do stick around.
